One anime with a very smart protagonist is "Death Note." The main character, Light Yagami, is a highly intelligent and strategic individual who comes into possession of a supernatural notebook that allows him to kill anyone whose name he writes in it. His intelligence and cunning make him a formidable and complex character as he uses the notebook to try to create a utopian world according to his own ideals. His cat-and-mouse game with the equally intelligent detective L makes for a thrilling and thought-provoking story. **

Yes, the anime protagonist is often underestimated by those around them. Despite facing challenges and obstacles, the protagonist consistently proves their strength, intelligence, and determination, surpassing the expectations of others. This underestimation often serves as a driving force for the protagonist to push themselves further and achieve their goals, ultimately leading to their growth and development throughout the series. **

An evil protagonist is characterized by their malicious intentions, lack of empathy, and willingness to harm others for personal gain. They often display a disregard for moral values and ethical principles, and their actions are typically driven by selfish desires or a thirst for power. Unlike antiheroes who may have redeeming qualities or complex motivations, evil protagonists are typically portrayed as irredeemably wicked and unapologetically villainous. **
